Haliburton Master Gardeners at the Haliburton County Farmers’ Market today!

Join us at the market this week as we welcome the Haliburton Master Gardeners!

The group of Haliburton County Master Gardeners (HCMG) was founded in April 2002. They serve Haliburton County and specialize in gardening in zone 4. The group is comprised of ten Master Gardeners and Master Gardeners in Training.
Master Gardeners of Ontario Inc. is an independent non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who are certified in horticulture and give in-depth sustainable gardening advice at no charge. They are dedicated to helping home gardeners in Haliburton!
Come out today and bring those horticultural related questions as you’re sure to be able to find the answers you need!

We look forward to seeing you at the market!

Volunteer at the Market

Thank you to all our market volunteers – we couldn’t do it without you!!

Volunteering is an excellent way to become more involved in the Farmers Market, support local farms, and connect with your community.

Because we’re growing, we’re on the hunt for some passionate local food lovers to volunteer and help us out at the Market.

We are very excited that the grand opening is coming up very soon, and because it’s our 5th anniversary season that includes 2 different locations in the County!

This year we’re asking for your help to make this year’s Market season the best one yet! We’re reaching out because our goal is to create a wonderful atmosphere for visitors, vendors and volunteers alike.

If you are interested in joining our team and volunteering at the Market, please click HERE for the volunteer application.

Thank you!
